2022 Peace Day In The Park ... Now at Wa-Ke-Hatchee Park in Fort Myers

Here we are again…getting ready for Peace Day! This year marks the 15th Annual SWFL Peace Day Celebration! Can you believe it? Last year, our first at beautiful Wa-Ke-Hatchee Park, more people than ever before turned out to celebrate a day of peace! The spacious layout of the park itself was ideal for vendors, food trucks, entertainers, live music, and for all who attended. The kids’ play areas, volleyball and tennis courts, and the dog park provided fun times for all, and there was plenty of room for special Peace Day activities like the Universal Medicine Wheel, crystal bowl sound baths, the Umbrella Mafia chill zones, a Darth Vader bounce house, and amazing live interactive art stations. Smiles were in abundance and peace was in the air!

This year we are happy to share that we will be back at Wa-Ke-Hatchee Park to gather in the name of Peace again. This year’s theme is “Light the Way for Peace”. A Native American prophecy foresaw that people of all colors would come together and bring unity and peace to our world...and that time is NOW! It is our heartfelt joy to set this intention and to make this year’s Peace Day the best yet! Peace Day has always been, and will always be, a Fun Family and Pet-Friendly FREE event.

Come! Share a day of peace...bring a chair or blanket, relax and listen to amazing live music, DJs and entertainers. Shop from a multitude of amazing artisans and exhibitor booths. Have some amazing meals and sweet treats from vegetarian, vegan, and omnivore food vendors, this year more than ever before! Let the kids color, go on rides, do yoga, and, oh yeah...visit the live mermaids, fresh from the ocean to wave their fins at Peace Day! There’s lots of free parking, the annual food and supplies drive for ACT Abuse and Counseling Treatment and Gulf Coast Humane Society, as well as the Bloodmobile for blood donations that stay here for the Lee County community.
